Sarah Frances

My name is Sarah Frances and I am a current Master of Public Health (MPH) Student at Columbia University. I conduct research on social determinants of health and concussions, examining if there are differences between students’ lived home environment and structural school environment in which concussion care occurs. I am also in the preliminary phase of studying the distribution of certified athletic trainers across the United States and advocating for a centralized concussion registry in New York State to monitor epidemiological trends. As a native Montrealer, I am looking to expand my network and gain insight into concussion prevention initiatives and research projects in Canada. I am seeking to return to Canada to complete my medical education over the next few years.
