Bradi Rai Lorenz
PhD Candidate
Bradi Rai Lorenz is a PhD Candidate in the School of Health and Exercise Sciences at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Her doctoral research focuses on advancing the understanding of brain dysfunction in women who have experienced intimate partner violence–related brain injury (IPV-BI). Specifically, her work investigates disruptions in postural and balance control as well as perturbations in circulating hormone levels, including estradiol, progesterone, and cortisol, following IPV-BI. Through this work, she aims to contribute to improved recognition, assessment, and support for survivors of IPV-BI, with the broader goal of informing both clinical practice and public health initiatives.
