Bill C-206, An Act to establish a national strategy on brain injuries introduced in the House of Commons

On June 10, 2025, Member of Parliament Gord Johns (Courtenay-Alberni) introduced Private Members Bill C-206, An Act to establish a national strategy on brain injuries. The first reading has been completed.

Previously, Bill C-277, An Act to establish a national strategy on brain injuries was passed in the House of Commons and by the Standing Committee on Health in 2024. Progress of the bill ended when the Parliament of Canada was prorogued in January 2025 and a federal election called in March 2025.
