Training and Career Development Committee

The Canadian Concussion Network recognizes the importance of engaging trainee members (at all levels of research and clinical training) and early career investigator members throughout all initiatives and specific trainee and early career focused-initiatives.

The CCN-RCC further recognizes the important role that trainee and early investigator members should play in shaping all CCN-RCC initiatives and the mission and goals of the CCN-RCC.

Our approach

The goal of the Training and Career Development Committee (TCDC) is to promote and implement quality trainee and early investigator initiatives within the CCN mandate. Mentorship Program

The CCN-RCC Mentorship Program represents a multidisciplinary pool of expertise, to provide career mentorship to trainees and assist in developing successful professional careers, in academia and beyond. Mentorship will be accomplished through a series of meetings, scheduled between mentor and mentee approximately 2-4 times per year to discuss a variety of topics (e.g., time management, leadership, networking, career progression).

Find a mentor

The mentorship registry lists CCN-RCC members who have volunteered to become mentors for concussion trainees across Canada.

Become a mentor

We are currently accepting voluntary registrations from CCN-RCC members and early career investigators (i.e., within 5 years post-PhD) to become mentors for concussion trainees across Canada.
