Erik Fraunberger

I am a psychiatry resident (PGY-3) at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a PhD in Neuroscience. My basic science background informs a clinical and research focus at the neurology-psychiatry interface, with particular emphasis on the neuropsychiatric sequelae of traumatic brain injury. My current research examines sleep disturbance following mild TBI, including pharmacological approaches to post-concussion insomnia. My goal is to complete advanced fellowship training in neuropsychiatry after residency with a continued focus on TBI outcomes, rehabilitation, and the integration of neuropsychiatric care into concussion management pathways.
