I am a former Usport football player and psychology graduate from the University of Waterloo, now pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education at Wilfrid Laurier University. My research focuses on the role of masculinity in shaping football players’ psychological readiness to return to sport following a sport-related concussion. Drawing on experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, my work seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of how social and cultural factors influence recovery trajectories and return-to-play decision-making on athletes who sustain a sport-related concussion.
